This year Crystal Clear Detailing are widening the range of services and the first of the new services for 2010 is the CC Race Car Detail. This performance enhancing treatment is designed to offer the most amount of protection possible to all of the exterior surfaces of the vehicle whilst maintaining a highly professional spotlessly clean look. The coating is a nano scale composite material – the most durable coating Crystal Clear has come across and lasts for up to 30,000 miles!

First, the paintwork is coated with the hydrophobic layer (whether paint, carbon fibre, vinyl, matt or satin finish) which is highly resistant to abrasion, reducing the appearance of scuffs and scratches by up to 50%. The wheels are also treated to an even more resistant wheel armor, which will help the build up of tar and rubber and make them easier to clean. Next, the windscreen and side/rear windows are also coated to increase visibility in wet conditions (not uncommon in the UK!). At 30-40mph, the beads of water on the windows start to fly off, increasing visibility and potentially reducing track times. Best of all, the treatment will mean that a wipe-over with quick detailer is all that is needed to maintain the finish and a highly professional racing look.
